To determine whether you have financial need according to the Federal Government, please submit an application with your TAXABLE INCOME documented and we can determine your eligibility for you.

    Acceptance for Enrollment

Once you are accepted into the TRIO SSP you will schedule an appointment to take a learning and study skills assessment. You will then meet with an Educational Specialist, your SSP Adviser, to develop an educational action plan and sign an enrollment contract. Lastly, you will be given a tour of the SSP facilities.  At the beginning of the spring semester you will also be matched with a peer mentor to help you adjust to college life.

Assessments: You will take the Learning and Studies Strategy (LASSI) assessment.

Educational Specialist: After completing the assessment tests, an Educational Specialist will review the results and develop an educational action plan with you, complete an enrollment contract with you, and will meet with you once a month throughout your first two years of college for advising.

Tour: After signing your enrollment contract, your adviser will take you on a tour of the SSP facilities and its resources.
