The Noyce Scholarship program supports juniors and seniors in good academic standing at Boise State University to continue to make progress toward a degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education. The mission of the Noyce Scholarship program is to increase the supply of well-trained K-12 STEM educators. Support for the program is provided by a grant from the National Science Foundation, and the program is administered by the College of Education with support from the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering on campus.
The scholarship includes a stipend of $5,000 per semester. This will be used toward tuition and other eligible student fees and expenses. The scholarship may be renewable if good academic progress continues to be made. Scholarships are renewable through a competitive re-application process, which will be held each year. Students are eligible for up to 4 semesters of support total.
The application for 2016-17 scholarships is now closed. We will re-open the application process for 2017-18 in May 2017.
