Literacy, Language & Culture Department Scholarships
All full‐time students are eligible for the College of Education Teacher Education Scholarships.
Additionally, there are some specific funds for literacy‐focused students. Priority will be given to those engaged in master’s degree programs in Literacy, TESOL or ENL but undergraduates who are working towards a literacy endorsement are invited to apply. Students must be enrolled full‐time in the term they receive these scholarships. Graduate students may apply for scholarships for the summer terms.
Applications are due by March 15th of any year for the following school year. This includes subsequent summer terms.
You will need to go to the Financial Aid Scholarship Site and complete that application (includes the FAFSA) in order to be considered for Literacy, Language & Culture Department Scholarships (see link, above).
In the one‐two page statement required on this application please discuss your reasons for applying for the Literacy, Language & Culture Department Scholarship. Discuss your interests in literacy and your financial need.
