Who can apply? Elementary, middle and high school teachers.

Scholarships All tuition fees, ESOL licensure exam covered! Tuition Funded by the Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA), application fees and tuition are fully covered for selected participants. In addition, the grant pays for the ESOL licensure exam.

Students seeking the endorsements in ENL and Bilingual must also pass the ESOL Praxis (5361). To earn the Bilingual endorsement, the student must have an advanced level score on ACTFL and three upper division Spanish language courses (9 credit hours), one in writing and one in literature.


OVERVIEW – The ENL or Bilingual endorsement programs prepare licensed teachers to meet the Idaho State Department of Education requirements for an add-on endorsement to your teaching certification. The online program can also be combined with a master’s degree program.
