Admission Requirements

All applicants for the Counselor Education and Supervision cognate, Ed.D in C&I must have a 60 credit hour masters degree in Counselor Education, preferably from a CACREP accredited program. Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all previous graduate work. Furthermore, a minimum composite score of 1000 (verbal, quantitative) on the old GRE test, or a composite score of 300 (verbal, quantitative) on the new GRE test or above is strongly recommended. Admission will be based upon review of the applicant’s transcripts, cover letter, complete curriculum vita, three professional or academic references, and an in-person or electronic interview.
