College of Education Nationally Ranked

According to the “Best Education School Rankings” from the 2018 U.S. News & World Report, Boise State University’s College of Education is ranked in the top 50 of public universities. When the rankings are reorganized according to regional areas, Boise State’s College of Education is in the Top 3 for both the Intermountain West and the Northwest.

The annual rankings consider factors related to reputation of employers, quality of graduate students and programs, faculty research activity and external funding, and peer evaluations. Nearly 400 graduate schools of education were surveyed, with Harvard University and Stanford University claiming the top two spots respectively.

In the regional West, Boise State’s College of Education is ranked #13 Best Education School compared to colleges of education in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.


 

Number 57 in the Nation

In the United States, Boise State’s College of Education is ranked #57 Best Education School overall compared to colleges of education across all 50 states. The College of Education climbed 14 spots from the 2017 to 2018 list.
