Checklists
The Program Advising Checklist will provide you with the admission and advancement criteria as well as the course requirements for each teacher education program available at Boise State University.

- Special Education B.A. Option 1 is the most common option for undergraduates. It culminates in a B.A. in Special Education with certification in Special Education (K-12) with the Generalist endorsement, and certification in Elementary Education (K-8).
- Special Education B.A. Option 2 is designed for special educators primarily working in secondary schools. It results in the K-12 certification in Special Education with the Generalist endorsement.
- Special Education Option 3 is a post-baccalaureate option for individuals who already have a college degree (with certification in general education or not) and wish to become special educators. In results in certification in Special Education (K-12) with the Generalist endorsement.
