PRAXIS I Writing - (The PRAXIS Series)
This assessment is required of all students wishing to enter the Elementary and Secondary Teacher Education Programs at Boise State University. A minimum score of 172 is requiref for admission. The PRAXIS I Writing Assessment is not given at Boise State University. It may be taken at another higher education institution in the valley by registering through PRAXIS or at the Prometric Testing Center. The Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. It is closed on Thursday and Sunday. Students need to call in advance to schedule an appointment. The cost is $85.00 for one test and $105.00 for two tests. Please bring valid ID (passport or drivers license) to the center on the day of the test. Once scheduled, testers must call at least three days prior to the testing day to cancel to receive a refund or to reschedule the test. There is a $10.00 rescheduling fee per exam and a $20.00 refund fee per exam for cancellations.
