Welcome to the TRiO Student Success Program
The TRiO Student Success Program (SSP) is a federally funded TRiO grant program located in the heart of Boise State University’s campus in Boise, Idaho, directly across the street from the university’s Administration Building.
The SSP provides eligible students with academic support during their process of earning a Bachelor’s Degree, while also providing them with opportunities to participate in group and community activities with their fellow students.
Participants in the SSPĀ must either be:
1. Low-income students, or
2. First-generation college students, or
3. Students with documented disabilities.
The SSP helps students with a myriad of needs that include:
- Academic advising throughout an undergraduate program
- One-on-one tutoring
- Academic development skills training
- Supplemental Grant aid to Freshmen and Sophomores
- Technical support for computers and software
- Access to the SSP computer lab
- Opportunities to attend cultural events on campus and in the Boise area
- Invitations to semi-annual graduation celebrations
The SSP continues to help students achieve their dreams of obtaining their academic goals.
Please visit our eligibility criteria and application pages. If you feel you, or someone you know may qualify to be a part of the SSP, please stop by the SSP office on campus.
