Lee Woods joined the Special Education faculty at Boise State University in
2007. He received his Bachelors degree from Northern Illinois University,
completed his Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of
Colorado at Colorado Springs, and is currently in the final stages of his
Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.
Lee spent three years working with adults with disabilities in a supported
employment project while at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Lee
taught Special Education for nine years in various schools in Colorado and
Montana. His experience includes extensive work with students with
severe/profound educational support needs in public school settings and work
with students with severe emotional/behavioral issues at a residential treatment
center. While at the University of Oklahoma, Lee served as project coordinator
for a U.S. Department of Education grant that developed school to adult life
transition planning lessons for students with disabilities.
