(Teachers              College, Columbia University) Prepared synthesis of two-day meeting regarding "approaches              in policy and practice for scaling up meaningful, reform-minded professional development for              teachers."

1993 Curriculum Evaluations, Reviewed six curricula and wrote evaluative summaries based upon              the standards of Michigan Statewide Systemic Initiative and National Science Teachers              Association for Dr. James Spillane.

Research Experience
1996 to Present Research Assistant and Project Coordinator Professional Development in the              Service of Systemic Reform Study. (funded by The Spencer Foundation) G. W. McDiarmid,              Principal Investigator. Responsible for coordination of data collection, database design, and              data analysis in study of professional development opportunities of Kentucky teachers since              the Kentucky Educational Reform Act of 1990. Also responsible for hiring research
           assistants, program coordination and budgetary matters

1995 Research Assistant, Gary Sykes, Principal Investigator.
           Responsible for nationwide identification and collection of state level teacher professional
           development policies.

1987-1988 Director of Product Development, FXT Inc.; Romeo, Michigan
           Served on a staff of four, trying to bring new products to the automotive aftermarket. Duties              included Chemist, Production, Quality Control, and Research and Development.
