It is the mission of the Center for Multicultural and Educational Opportunities at Boise State University to encourage and facilitate academic achievement and personal growth among under-represented groups in our schools and communities and to foster and celebrate human diversity.

Boise State University’s Center for Multicultural and Educational Opportunities was developed in 1991. At that time the Center became responsible for the development of outreach initiatives designed to provide support and encouragement to students to pursuing academic achievement at a variety of levels and in a variety of areas.
