The Idaho State Department of Education has changed the technology requirement for teacher certification. Applicants are no longer required to provide proof of technology competency to receive (or renew) their teaching certificate. In addition, the College of Education at Boise State University no longer requires the ETA. Technology competency will be met through approved coursework. In light of these changes, the ETA office will continue to offer external testing services through November 30, 2007. The last Boise State monthly test will be administered December 4, 2007.
