Bobbie Birdsall
Dr. Bobbie Birdsall is now serving as the Chair of the Department of
Counselor Education. Dr. Birdsall is a National Certified Counselor/School
Counselor/Career Counselor, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in
Idaho
with experience as an elementary and secondary school counselor.
She is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the
Association of Counselor Education and Supervision, and the International
Association of Marriage and Family Counselors. Her research agenda includes
partnerships with school counselors investigating the effectiveness of
meditation practices in group counseling, spirituality in counseling, and family
counseling in the school setting. Dr. Birdsall coordinates the school counseling
emphasis in the Master of Arts in Counseling Program and the Graduate
Certificate in Gerontology.
