Application Procedure

Submit in one packet to the Counselor Education Admission Committee:
1) Letter of application describing your:
    • Professional experiences as they support your desire to be a school             counselor or a counselor in the field of addiction
    • Career goals
    • Reasons for your interest in this program including your vision about the role of  a school counselor in the public schools or the role of an addiction counselor in a mental health agency.
2) Up-to-date resume
3) Official copies of complete transcripts
4) Three current, sealed letters of reference supporting your qualifications for a
     counseling program and graduate work.

 

Deadline for application for Fall 2007 enrollment was March 1st, 2007.
Application deadline for Fall 2008 enrollment is March 1st, 2008.
A campus interview and writing sample are required of all finalists.
