Course Description:
Students will create a written portfolio and present the portfolio in an oral defense. The portfolio will demonstrate student competence in all 8 core areas of CACREP.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
1. Describe and defend the chosen theoretical orientation(s).
2. Demonstrate counseling skills.
3. Demonstrate ethical decision making.
4. Demonstrate competence in conducting research/program evaluation.
5. Demonstrate competence in all 8 CACREP areas.

Evaluation Criteria |
GRADING: Pass/Fail
Written Portfolio (50%). Each section of the portfolio will be graded for content and demonstration of knowledge of the area (see Student Handbook).
Oral Portfolio Defense (50%). Oral presentation of the portfolio will be graded for content and demonstration of knowledge of each area outlined below (see Student Handbook).

· You are to turn your Integrated Paper for the Integrated Paper Due Date.
· I will review that week and return with comments. You then will make revisions and then submit your final portfolio for review.
· I will then review your portfolio and either return to you for further revision (which will need to occur within one week) or distribute to your supervisory committee for their review.
Your portfolio will be returned to you at least 2 days prior to your scheduled defense.
* CV, Professional/Personal Growth Statement, Tapescript, case presentation, and concluding statement can be turned in with final portfolio
Integrated Paper
