There is no special way that a personal map must
look. It can be sophisticated or simple. It can be any part of the child's
world---large or small. The important thing is that it show a personal connection
with the landscape, which can be illustrated by decorating it with favorite landmarks.
A simple example is shown below in Casey's World.
