Yang explores ed tech learning theories

Dazhi Yang, assistant professor and coordinator of the K-12 online teaching endorsement program in the Department of Educational Technology, presented a paper titled “An exploration of learning theories and emerging theories of educational technology on teachers’ use of technology in classrooms” at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2012 annual meeting in Vancouver, Canada.

Yang also was selected as a junior faculty members by the AERA Division C: Learning and Instruction’s New Faculty Mentoring Program (NFMP). The NFMP, which was co-chaired by Louis Nadelson in the College of Education, facilitated the interaction between selected faculty members and the invited expert speakers, journal editors and program officers from NSF and the Spencer Foundation.
