Get a jump on kids’ summer activities

Faculty, staff and students are invited to register their children early for the Kinesiology Summer Youth Sports Program.

Early registration begins  April 9.  Go to the registration site. Sessions run June 11-29 and July 9-14. Cost is $60 per activity ($65 for rock climbing).

Activities are aimed at children ages 5-14, as follows:

  • Specific classes for ages 5-7 — dance and cheer, munch and play
  • Classes for ages under 8 — tennis, super skill games, beginning tumbling, basketball
  • Classes for ages 8-14 — all other activities including basketball, bowling, dance and cheer, gymnastics, munch and play, multi-sport, rock climbing, racket skills, sports conditioning and strength training, swimming, team building and tennis

Classes are offered at various times from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. General registration begins April 18. For class locations and more information visit the Department of Kinesiology or call 426-4270.
