About Us
The program prepares bilingual or ENL teachers for meeting the diverse linguistic and socio-cultural needs of schools and the communities they serve. Students will be experts in the variety of instructional methods to accommodate the needs of learners from linguistic and socio-culturally diverse backgrounds. They will provide quality education and be prepared to incorporate student’s language and culture into the learning process.
The program offers a:
- Bachelor of Arts Bilingual Education and English as a New Language
- Master's in Bilingual Education
- Master's in English as a New Language (ENL)
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Arts degree, students are qualified to receive a standard Elementary Teaching Certificate K-8 from the State of Idaho.
