  • Linguametrics Group, San Rafael, California.  3/88-9/88.  Research and Development of pilot versions, scoring, and item analyses of new Language Assessment Scales (both Spanish and English versions). 
  • Consultant:  Linguametrics Group, San Rafael, California.  2/90-1998.  Research and Development of pilot versions, and item analyses of the Adult Language Assessment Scales.
  • Boise State University.  Applied Linguistics in a Foreign Language Classroom. 1/89-date.  Development of a syllabus and materials for teaching whole language Spanish to beginning students.  Surveying of student attitudes, analysis of strategies used by students, and measurement of progress using both pre and post discourse level measures (dictations) and traditional grammar tests.
  • Qualitative research, reflective practice and field notes of seven years of pedagogical explorations in a foreign language classroom are presently being formalized in a manuscript entitled:  Why Can’t Johnny [sic] Speak Two Languages?:  Explorations into Pathways to Bilingualism.
