Currently pursuing two lines of research:

Language and literacy acquisition policy and pedagocial practice; curriculum and instructional design among new and emerging language and literacy educators in the Treasure Valley.

Culture and Power: the social dynamics of language, race, culture and class at geographical intersections; class privilege and social stratification; ideology, self and social/community consciousness/false consciousness.
