Completion of Graduate Degree

Graduate students should apply and pay for graduation online through BroncoWeb. This includes students working towards a graduate degree and/or a certificate.  Please login to your BroncoWeb account, click on STUDENT heading > REGISTRAR heading > APPLY FOR GRADUATION. When you start the process, the system will check to confirm that the Application for Admission to Candidacy form has been received by the Graduate College. If you have not submitted the Application for Admission to Candidacy form then you will receive an error message and will not be able to apply for graduation. The system also checks the catalog/year that you are listed under and will prompt you to contact the Graduate Office if it needs to be changed. There are contact phone numbers listed on the panels if there are any questions about this process.

                For degrees and certificates to be awarded in May, the Application for Candidacy form must have been filed by the deadline published in the Academic Calendar, (usually the beginning of October).  For degrees and certificates to be awarded in August, the Application for Candidacy form must have been filed by the deadline published in the Academic Calendar, (usually late February). The deadline to file the Completion of Graduate Degree form is published in the Academic Calendar, (usually the first week of June). The fees for applying for graduation are $25 for graduate degrees and $20 for graduate certificates.
